Just to prove I’m not above reblogging news from BoingBoing - Vernor Vinge’s book Rainbows End has been made available as a free download.
I loved this book, and while it isn’t a literary masterpiece, it does give a brilliant view of one path the near-future development of technology could take. Its my pick for most inspiring read of 2006.
